Creating Your Dream Pool

We at Ambassador Pools realise how important it is to meet your expectations and to build you a swimming pool within the budget you decide. We will spend as much time as is needed to go through slowly, carefully and professionally in a friendly manor to ensure that what we create for you fulfills your expectations.

There are all sorts of construction methods available to suit different applications and ground conditions and budgets. In order of popularity, they are:

Liner Pools

This is by far the most popular of construction methods used. Liner pools started in the 1960's and have evolved now with the addition of the new super liner to possibly be the most prudent and durable method of construction. As with everything that you buy there are less expensive, standard and deluxe packages available to you. The liner pool is also popular with the DIY enthusiast. Options available:

  1. The basic block and liner pool
  2. The more popular panel and liner pool

Concrete Pools

This was originally the only method of pool construction with options available depending on ground conditions would be:

  1. Cavity wall on steel reinforced concrete floor with pre-mixed concrete and steel mesh reinforcing within the cavity. Render and tile finish.
  2. Gunite construction - sprayed concrete onto a steel reinforced cage. Render and tile finish

Other options available would be a shuttered concrete pool - more common on large commercial swimming pools. Other finishing options include various paints (rubber-chlorinated, epoxy and water), rendered finish in marbelite / pacelite.

One Piece Pools

The beauty of a one piece pool is construction is quick and simple. You can be swimming in a completed pool normally within a week. Limitations on one piece pools are sizes (limited sizes available) and access. You may require the additional cost of crane or telehandler.
